Applied externally as an astringent in inflammation of the skin and mucous membranes, skin damage, frostbite, light burns.
Topical application to the skin or mucous membranes in the form of decoction:
1 tablespoon of bark (approx. 4.0g) Pour 1 cup of water, boil 5 minutes. Let stand for 15 minutes, strain. Decoction is used for rinsing the mouth and throat, wraps and washings.
It must not be used for more than one week.
Damage to the skin over a large area. Do not use as a bath, not suitable for draining large surface eczema, infectious diseases associated with fever, heart failure, hypertension, pregnancy, breastfeeding.
