Altacet is a colorless gel with the scent of menthol, used in bruising, post-traumatic edema, and swelling due to 1st degree burns.
The active substance - aluminum octanowinian 10 mg; excipients - ethanol, levomenthol, ethyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, carbomer, sodium hydroxide and purified water.
Astringent and soothing pain. Excipient (menthol) exhibits local cooling effect.
It is used topically on the skin bruises, swelling, and joint swelling caused by traumatic and 1st degree burns.
For topical application to the skin. Apply to clean, dry skin in the painful areas 3 to 4 times a day, at intervals of several hours, preferably in the form of wraps.
